Job Title: Clinical Lab Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Clinical Lab Assistant to join our team in New Hampshire. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform various laboratory tasks to support healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in collecting and processing specimens for analysis
- Perform routine laboratory tests under the supervision of medical technologists
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness and safety
- Record and report test results accurately and timely
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS/BCLS- Required
- Previous experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
